Steps to buying a property

Reservation
The apartment reservation will be made for 15 days. Reservation payments are not expected at this stage. This time is allocated for you to obtain advice from a credit institution regarding financing options, as well as to prepare and agree on the terms and conditions of a preliminary purchase agreement or purchase agreement.
2.
Preliminary
A preliminary purchase agreement will be concluded if the property is bought during the construction of a residential building, and in accordance with this agreement, a security deposit of 10% of the transaction amount must be made.
3.
Purchase Agreement
The purchase agreement will be signed after the building has entered service, and has been divided into apartment properties. After signing the purchase agreement, the outstanding payment has to be made – 90% of the transaction amount, if a preliminary agreement was concluded beforehand If the property was chosen after the building entered service, and a preliminary agreement has not been not concluded, the purchase amount must be paid in full.

If you need financing from a credit institution to buy an apartment, we advise you to contact any of the Latvian banks - our cooperation partners - to consult and agree on individual conditions appropriate for your situation. At each of the banks, Kaamos has its own mortgage lending consultant, who will provide you with the support you need and help to speed up the process of arranging documents.
Upon reserving an apartment during the construction phase, 10% of its value is deposited, then, pending the completion of the project, financial obligations are finalized with the selected financial institution.*
